Kendall Miami Wellness Program
The wellness program is a post-physical therapy program that allows the patient to come in to use the equipment under the supervision of a physical therapist. It is most beneficial for patients that have a) recently finished their physical therapy intervention and would like to continue progressing or b) feel that there is still work that needs to be done under the supervision of a professional.
Patients have the opportunity to continue working towards functional independence and can ask any questions, inquire about any new onset of symptoms if applicable, or express any concerns to the physical therapist. Furthermore, with one-on-one exercise regimes, we do our best to focus on each patient’s needs. For example, we provide individualized stretching assistance, balance challenges, and all of the tools you may need for overall maintenance post-physical therapy.
Kendall Miami Personal Training
As for our personal training sessions, our professional trainer will work on a program tailored just for you that will help maintain or improve your health. Our dedicated trainer will get to know your personal training goals and do their best to help you achieve them in our contemporary fitness center.
In addition, our professional trainer will make sure your sessions consist of challenges, motivation and education. Our trainer will motivate you to not drag your feet when you think of working out and take you to a level you once thought was unachievable, helping you accomplish your goals. Our trainer will also be the person in your corner to give you the push and support you may lack when exercising on your own.
Finally, your personal trainer will educate you on everything you need to know about exercising safely and effectively, demonstrating the correct posture for each exercise. By educating you on proper form when exercising, it will raise your productivity while working out, which means less risk of injury and more effectiveness.
Measuring & Seeing Physical Results
There are multiple ways to help you reach your target by measuring your body weight, BMI, body fat percentage and also improving your eating habits. Our trainer will measure your body weight, BMI, and body fat percentage every two weeks so you will have a better idea as to how the program is progressively working. As you may know, sometimes progress cannot be seen with the naked eye, so measuring your body weight and fat percentage will help you see the changes your eyes are yet to discover. Simultaneously, our specialized trainer will give you nutritional advice to help you improve your eating habits since a lot of the progress depends on how well balanced your meals are.
